About
Born and raised in Johnston, Iowa, Alex Beltrame has always had a passion for sports and performance. He has always been actively involved in sports—football, soccer, and track and field—which laid the foundation for his lifelong interest in movement, exercise, and recovery. He continued his athletic career at Wartburg College, where he played football for three years before pursuing chiropractic education.
Alex earned both his Bachelor’s and Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degrees from Palmer College of Chiropractic. After graduating, he moved to Kansas City, where he spent four years working alongside some of the top chiropractors and physical therapists in the region. These years sharpened his clinical skills and shaped his integrated, patient-first approach to care.
In 2025, Alex returned to Iowa to bring that same level of care to his home state—opening the first F.I.T. Muscle & Joint Clinic outside of the Kansas City metro. As owner and operator of the Iowa locations, Alex combines his clinical expertise with the same energy and discipline he once brought to the field. His goal is simple: help patients move, feel, and live better—whether they’re athletes, weekend warriors, or simply navigating everyday life.
Alex is certified in TPI (Titleist Performance Institute), ART (Active Release Techniques), and FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation), equipping him to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions with an evidence-based, movement-focused approach.
Outside the clinic, Alex still finds joy in competition and movement—especially on the golf course, even if that sometimes means tracking down wayward tee shots. He and his high school sweetheart, Natalie, enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, discovering new restaurants, and the occasional (highly competitive) board game night.
