About
Growing up in a small town in Northern IL, there weren’t many options for recovering from an
injury. A knee injury was enough to tear Emily down in high school. She started to become
afraid of sports that once meant the world to her which was incredibly hard for her mentally.
Slowly she started to become more and more interested in the rehabilitation process, doing her
own research on exercises, stretches, nutrition, and all around healthy lifestyles. This led to her
majoring in kinesiology at UW-Milwaukee. She finished up her education at Cleveland
University- Kansas City with the mission to make sure her patients get the care they deserve- an
individualized care plan to reach the goals they have.
She is a recent newlywed, so when not in the clinic she’s spending time with her husband. And
there’s a good chance we’re either doing a workout and yapping with friends at Overland Park
Crossfit or playing with our crazy dog, Margo. Emily also loves to bake sourdough, read books,
and explore coffee or ice cream shops
