Katie grew up in Lake View, IA. She attended Creighton university where she received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2018 and spent a good portion of her time volunteering for various organizations and going on service trips around the US and even to the Dominican Republic.  It was during this time she decided to pursue her passion for helping others by going to physical therapy school. She attended the University of Iowa to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, graduating in December of 2021.

After graduation she moved to Talkeetna, AK for four years to work as a physical therapist where she treated patients of all ages to get back to normal function and return to the activities they loved. She returned to the midwest in May of 2026 wanting to be closer to family. Katie enjoys helping people return to the things they love to do and remain active at any stage of their life.

In her free time she can be found spending time with her two dogs, Percy and Odie, or her many nieces and nephews. She also enjoys reading, hiking, cycling, crocheting and exploring new places.
