Internship
F.I.T. Muscle & Joint Clinic is proud to serve as an approved site for area undergraduate exercise science and kinesiology programs. Interns suited for this program would be aspiring physical therapy or chiropractic degree-seeking students or have a strong interest in physical medicine health professions.
Interns will have an opportunity to learn about all aspects of the business including but not limited to:
- Direct patient care experience (Shadowing and assisting health care providers)
- Administrative experience (Communication with new and current patients, handling phone calls, management of health records, accepting payment, medical billing and coding, verifying insurance benefits and explaining to patients, etc)
- Small business operations
- Marketing (peer to peer, website, social media, etc)
- And more!
