F.I.T. is equipped to match patients needing concussion management with a highly specialized physical therapist trained in treating these injuries in people of all ages, especially those involved in high school or college sports.
The key to responsible play, however, is understanding your risk for injury before it happens. F.I.T. Muscle & Joint Clinic can perform a baseline concussion test, also known as ImPACT testing, before you experience a concussion. This measures everything from reaction timing to cognitive focus and memory recall. Having this information on record can help us determine the best way to treat your concussion if you are to receive one within the season.
