About
Meet Anne Moore, MOT, OTR/L, an Occupational Therapist with three years of experience across multiple settings. She grew up in a small town in Mid- Missouri, attended the Harvard of the Midwest (Truman State University) in Kirksville, Missouri, then travelled back home to Columbia, MO where she completed her graduate degree in 2022 at Mizzou. After completing grad school, Anne worked in inpatient rehabilitation settings working to get individuals back home following traumatic events, then moved to Kansas City in 2023. In Kansas City she found inspiration working in the Grossman Burn Center at Research Medical Center, in the burn unit she was able to find her passion in working with hands and upper extremity rehabilitation.
Anne loves being able to build relationships with her patients to further understand what personal goals they have in order to be able to live their lives to the fullest. Joining F.I.T. Has brought her the opportunity to not only branch into a new setting of occupational therapy but to also begin a Hand Therapy Fellowship to enrich her knowledge and therefore her approach to care to provide the best care possible for individuals seeking upper extremity rehabilitation.
Outside of her dedication to her patients, Anne enjoys traveling, spending time in the sunshine, playing with her ornery King Charles Cavalier, and spending quality time with her friends and family trying new restaurants and cocktail spots around KC.
