Dace is originally from a small town called Cheyenne Wells in Colorado. While only having a high school class of 16, he decided to pursue his dreams of going to college and finding a career. After being a business major for only three days, he switched his major to exercise science. Following graduation he then moved to Kansas City to continue pursuing his passion of Physical Therapy, at The University of Saint Mary. His passion for physical therapy developed after experiencing his own injuries and recovering from all through the use of diverse physical therapy strategies. He hopes to bring these different strategies to the FIT team and give patients great experiences while helping heal their minds and bodies.

When Dace is not working, you can find him at Shawnee Mission Park playing disc golf with friends, pickleball, walking his dog, and staying active outdoors. He especially enjoys time with his wife as they share many of the same interests, as she is also a Physical Therapist. Together, they enjoy bouncing ideas off of each other about treatments and ways to make patients feel as good as possible while providing excellent care.
