About Matt

Matt is a long-standing resident of Kansas City and grew up in Overland Park. Throughout his youth he played soccer, the violin, Lacrosse and was active in Boy Scouts. He has always had a passion for health and fitness and worked as a personal trainer through school. He now enjoys weight training and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as ways to stay healthy and fit.

Matt's Career Journey

After college, Matt worked within a hospital setting at Providence Medical Center in Cardiac Rehab. His focus was on ambulation, lifestyle modification and exercise on patients recovering from cardiopulmonary events.

Matt spent 2 years working within the hospital before he knew he wanted to work with patients on both sides of the age and health spectrum and hopefully take a more proactive approach to healthcare. After meeting Dr. Chad Barnes in chiropractic school, they knew there had to be a better healthcare model that encompassed active care and a better clinical setting for new chiropractors and physical therapists to start their careers.

In his free time...

He now spends his free time with his wife Holly and trying to survive the weekends with their two young girls, Brooklyn and Charlotte. When not encouraging his patients to make healthier lifestyle choices, he can be found indulging in pizza and wine and watching whatever is on Netflix or On Demand.
