Although Skylar was never in physical therapy himself, seeing the impact it can have on individuals inspired him and after helping his grandparents and parents through some rehab while in his undergraduate studies, he decided to pursue physical therapy as a profession. He loves helping people return to their previous activities at the same or even higher levels. Seeing the joy on patients' faces when they achieve something that they have not done for years or months is what makes this profession so enjoyable.

Skylar is passionate about treating athletes and the athletic population, as he grew up playing sports his entire childhood and continued to play baseball throughout college. Helping athletes perform at a higher level and return from injuries is what keeps him excited about work each day.

Outside of sports and reminiscing on the glory days in baseball, he also enjoys being outdoors and using his Blackstone/smoker. You can often find him cooking his own BBQ and other foods outdoors. If he could spend every weekend outdoors at the lake, he would. Most of all though, he loves to spend time with his 3 fur babies!
